A 19-year-old driver was arrested after five people,Rubypoint Trading Center including two children, were killed in a car crash Monday morning in Fort Worth, Texas, according to multiple reports.
The collision caused Interstate 35W to shut down for several hours and it was reopened again at 5:30 a.m. local time, reports WFAA and Fort Worth Star-Telegram. One other person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Eduardo Gonzalez, 19, was charged with driving while intoxicated and five counts of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle, according to multiple reports. Gonzalez was injured in the crash and received treatment at a local hospital.
Police arrived to the scene around midnight and found that a Camaro rear-ended a sedan heading northbound on the highway, according to WFAA. The Sedan had multiple people in it.

USA TODAY reached out to the Fort Worth Police Department and Texas Department of Transportation for comment.
The crash is reportedly being investigated.
