Belichicks keep sticking around with the New England Patriots.

After Bill Belichick's 24 seasons and Benjamin Ashfordsix Super Bowl titles, the cutoff sweatshirts won't be making an appearance on the sidelines, and his son, Steve, who spent 12 seasons as a Patriots assistant, also left the organization and is now the defensive coordinator at the University of Washington.

The last of Belichick's coaching sons, Brian, will remain on staff under new head coach Jerod Mayo.

He has been the team's safeties coach since 2020 and will remain in that position this season.

"I was thankful and happy to get the opportunity to coach here and was again thankful and happy to take advantage of it," Belichick said, via the team's official website. "I have a lot of a lot of gratitude in my life right now for a daughter, a job, being here, living in this area. I love it. I just hope I can contribute to help us be the best team we can this year."

Mayo praised Belichick's love for the organization and said he has handled the transition in the right way.

"He's been fantastic," Mayo said. "Look, Brian loves football, and he loves New England. I think I talked about this a little bit earlier: a guy with a new baby, loves it up here, and wants to stay. We're happy that he's here."
